I’m sorry for such a late post – my family’s flight was delayed (O’Hare airport = awful) and I’m finally in for the night! What. a. day.
Unfortunately for the purposes of this blog, my lunch was pretty monotonous – I had exactly what I ate on Monday: PB-Banana Muffin. But for the record, it was still just as delicious – I highly recommend it.
And later, a Banana Walnut Gnu Bar:
After our newscast, I went to Panera to pick up some bagels for my mom and brother in case they were hungry. I also got myself some dinner but, in my haste, forgot my camera and had to use my cell phone. Also unfortunate for the purposes of this blog!!
Oy! Cell phone pictures just don’t do it for me – I apologize! Panera is really much more appealing than this picture shows – it is another absolutely delicious soup, salad and sandwich place near campus. For dinner tonight, I had a bowl of the Garden Vegetable soup, a Greek salad and a whole grain baguette (the brown blob in the back). They have all kinds of delicious freshly-baked breads – whole grain, ciabatta, foccacia…it’s heaven 🙂
Sorry for keeping this post short. I’m thinking since my mom and brother are here, posts will be a little sporadic – but I do intend on taking plenty of pictures since we have some fabulous meals in the works through the weekend. I’m also going into the city at some point so I’ll do my best to provide some entertaining photos and stories after my family returns home!
Sweet dreams 🙂
Gaaaaaaah, I love Panera Bread! It makes me so sad we don’t have any in Utah!
I’m a creature-of-habit, so your monotonous lunch choice looks ESPECIALLY appealing, haha!
No need to apologize for a short post – it’s important to enjoy your time with your family! Hope they have a safe trip home!
