Mountain Magic Reprise

Does this look like a pair ready to conquer a golf tournament?

Not sure about that, but we’re definitely ready to conquer something. Oh, and I may not have been ready for the first photo. I was too excited about my Kanye West sunglasses. 🙂

Tonight marked the kickoff event for this year’s Mountain Magic tournament! In addition to the photo booth, there was plenty of delicious food (and drinks) to be had. I had a little bit of everything: beef topped with horseradish, chicken taco shell, whole wheat roll and portabello salad. The beef was my favorite – the horseradish gave it an extra kick!

There were also delicious raspberry cosmos (served through a high heel made of ice – no joke).

And that shot glass behind the cosmo? It was actually a watermelon gazpacho shooter, which was very yummy. There was also a coconut curry shrimp soup shooter, but it wasn’t my favorite.

For dessert, there was a scrumptious strawberry cake that I had my eye on. It reminded me of our wedding cake and was worth every bite! I also picked up a small chocolate tart.

We had a great time dining and sizing up our competition. 😉

Tomorrow the fun begins! Fingers crossed that the rain holds off. And that we hit fairways!

More to come soon. 🙂

How is your week going?

Abrazos,
