You mean that’s not the snooze button?

Good morning! Remember when I said today would be less hectic? Well, it probably would have been true had I not accidentally turned off my alarm clock instead of pressing snooze this morning! There was so much I wanted to have accomplished before my morning class – oh well! The bright side is that I got more sleep 🙂

Since I was limited on time, I went with something fast this morning – but it was also something I had never tried before! Kashi GO LEAN! blueberry waffles:

I used to eat Eggo waffles when I was little – let me tell you, they have nothing on these! I could taste the blueberry goodness in every bite, and the fact that they’re made with whole grains makes them even more appealing. I put 1/2 tbsp. peanut butter on one and 1/2 tbsp. Dark Chocolate Dreams (yum!) on the other. I also had 1/2 of a large banana that I added to each bite. I tried to make the presentation pretty for all of you!!

And of course a picture of one delectable PB-blueberry-banana bite (you can see the chunks of blueberries inside the waffle):

I had limited time to get some reading done after breakfast. I typically like to drink something while I’m reading textbooks for class – perhaps because it breaks up some of the monotony of the process? But what to drink?

Easy decision – Coffee Cocoa!

Enthralling.

Not so enthralling.

Psychology is a fascinating subject, but unfortunately my failure to wake up on time means I’m scrambling to get through the reading – does anybody else wish there was something like 27 hours in a day? I think I could get a lot done in those extra 3 hours!!

I hope everyone has had a fantastic morning. Even though I’ve had a lot to do in a little time, the sun is shining and temperatures are going to be – gasp! – in the 60s today! Dare I say spring has finally arrived here in Chicago?

See you for lunch!

  1. Oh no!! Haha, I’ve done that before – and then I FREAK OUT when I realize that I should not have slept for so long :0)

    Waffles + banana slices + nut-butter = perfect combination.

Yes, I’m hoping that spring has arrived (and is going to stay put!) where I am, as well.

Good luck with your studies, and enjoy your Tuesday!

  2. I’ve never had peanut butter on my waffles… but now I must try it! (Especially the Dark Chocolate Dreams… *drool*)
