The more relaxing (yet still challenging) aspect of the P90X series workout: Yoga X. I love how all the names have an “X” at the end. It makes me feel like a body builder 😉 But basically, it was a very intense yoga session! I did ashtanga, vinyasa, up/downward dog, warrior pose, etc. etc. for 1 hour and 30 minutes! Considering I’ve never done yoga before, this was a bit intense for me. I’m not gonna lie, I had a little a lot of trouble with some of the poses. But now that I’ve at least seen and tried everything, I feel better about “the next time.” I definitely enjoyed doing yoga first thing in the morning. The deep breathing really made me feel at ease. Now I know why it’s so popular in the blogosphere! Namaste 🙂

Its good to hear that I wasn’t the only one who had trouble with the Yoga X disk. The first couple of times I tried it I didn’t make it past the 30 minute mark. I never thought that doing yoga could make someone sweat so much lol. I have friends who do yoga in groups and they always invited me but I never saw how that could help me stay in shape. Boy was I wrong!!
