Review: I’m already familiar with the Trio bar, having tried the strawberry flavor in this post. I really like the ingredient list because it’s short and full of healthy fats from the nuts and seeds. As far as texture goes, the bar is completely crunchy, but not so much that it makes it hard to bite into. The pieces break off easily and the blueberry flavor was present throughout. This bar makes a perfect snack when you are looking for something more substantial that will hold you over for a few hours at a time. I needed it to power through a busy day of projects, and it kept me full for at least 3 hours – an outstanding feat for a bar. I also found it helpful in that I am often lacking in healthy fats. This bar is an easy way to get in your daily dose of nuts or seeds, both of which are proven to have benefits for your heart.
Get Yours: I’ve only physically seen them at Costco, but you can also order them online at the company site.
These are absolutely hands down the BEST snack bars I’ve ever tasted. They are vegan, have no trans fat,no cholesterol, no additives or preservatives, etc. And, best of all, they taste GREAT! I have one every morning for breakfast along with a piece of fruit and some juice. It is easy to grab on the go and satisfying as well.
Debbie ~ I couldn’t agree more! I see that you’re from Mesa – nice! My family is out in AZ now 🙂 Love the sunshine!
[…] with a nice crunch (but not hard to chew at all) and a slight sweetness. It reminded me a lot of a Trio Bar, which I love. Thanks, […]
the ones from costco come in a 1.7 oz package. Just so you’re aware. The nutrition for that size is Cal 230, Fat 16, Sat 2.5, Sod 60, Carb 20, Fiber 3, Sugar 8, Protein 6
While visiting friends in CA, I was intoduced to the Trio bar. I liked the taste & crunchiness. I think the natural sugars from the fruits could provide more than enough sweetness without being supplemented by evaporated cane juice.
Quality & CO2 footprint perspective…my Trio wrapper said it was produced in China…dissappointment plus…
Of course, what a great site and informative posts, I will add backlink – bookmark this site? Regards, Health Reader.
