Thank you for the awesome insights on my writing post yesterday. I loved hearing all of your personal stories and opinions on what writing and books mean to you!
Saturday marked the end of the #MarchPhotoADay challenge. Although I did not post daily to my blog as I did in February, I enjoyed these photos just as much and am really looking forward to continuing the momentum in April (more on that later). Fat Mum Slim has created a project that not only sparks creativity, but also inspires me to get out and explore my surroundings…or simply take a closer look at what I have around me every day.
On that note, here are the final week photos, plus a challenge I have for each of you!
March 26: My “keys” hang from our holder by the door. I wrote the message when we moved in 2.5 years ago. It remains there as a reminder of how amazing it is to live with my best friend.
March 27: I loved the commentary I got when I posted this one! Another favorite from childhood – this one because it had my “name” in it…with Minnie Mouse! Do you remember these personalized Minnie ‘n Me books? How about The Girls on Minnie Street song and CD? π
March 28: One person’s “trash” is my treasure. My aunt found these 19th century poetry books that someone else no longer needed and lent them to me. I love flipping through the pages.
March 29: I was hoping these “feet” were ready for a five-mile training run. (They were!)
March 30: “Toys” are not just for kids. Proof: these goofy shots from our wedding photo booth.
March 31: This used to be Bobby’s “man” chair, but now it has also become “where I relax” with a good book. (It might also be where the sobbing began on Sunday.) π
Another 31 days gone from 2012 – I can barely believe it!
I’ve recently become obsessed with the collage feature in Picasa. I used it with #FebPhotoADay and #MarchPhotoADay, both of which are now on my Photos page.
I also used it for our newly updated DreamChamps Facebook Timeline! It shows the companies we’ve worked with to date, along with our tagline: Because life’s too short to do work you hate.
And now I challenge YOU! Who’s in for #PhotoADayApril?
If you’ve been on the fence about these in the past, I highly recommend trying it out for a month! It’s fun to wake up each morning knowing you have a chance to share something beautiful.
Even when the subject is “trash!”
Abrazos,
I really adore these challenges! I was so bad with keeping up with it last month…I’m going to try much harder this month!
I love all the pictures you post for the challenges!
That line about work is soooooooooooooooo true. It’s making me realize how much of what I do means to me! Which is probably why I’m already thinking about another job in the fall for a non-profit in NM or OR!!!!
Yay!! I want to hear more about these!!
I made the mistake of not saving the list for March and then couldn’t find it, but I’m prepared for April! It is so much fun!
I’m so excited you’re doing April! Are you on Instagram?!
oh wow thats genius to use picassa for your photo album of march photo a day! so cute for the collage too! i miight just have to do that for april π and i’m kind of overly in love with your bride & groom rubber duckies!
You totally should do it for April! And thanks – we found them at Michael’s craft store and I couldn’t resist. My maiden name is “Korducki,” after all. π
Your ‘DreamChamps’ motto is so inspiring; life IS too short. I am three days late, but I’m going to try the April challenge!
Yay! I’m so glad to hear it – and can’t wait to see your pictures!
I’m not good at photography, but this photo-a-day thing sounds like fun! and it also seems like something that would help me use my brain in a different way (that is creative!) each day…….. fun critical thinking! you are inspiring me, Bender, which is not a first by any means! π
[as in, you have inspired me on many many occasions! if that wasn’t clear!]
