There are not many things I “hate to do,” seeing as how I’m a firm believer that life is too short. A visit home leaves me with even fewer options for today’s #FebPhotoADay, but as much as I heart home, waking up to an alarm on the weekend definitely fits the bill.
I’m happy to wake up at 7:25 a.m. on my own terms, but the blaring “trill” alarm should be reserved for weekdays, in my humble opinion. I’m honestly not complaining, though. As groggy as I was, the reason for my early rising was to play golf, and that’s something I love!
We had some crazy cloud cover out on the course today. I caught the effect on Instagram.
All that course walking worked up quite an appetite. Fortunately, Papa Bender had ribs in mind.
He served up organic barbecue pork, with corn and Swiss chard on the side. All were excellent!
We’re enjoying a low key night of business taxes. Wait. Something about that sentence doesn’t flow…
One more day of fun tomorrow. Do you have the day off? If so, how are you spending it?
